and asks her Just one Question…

What inspired you to blog about food?”

My family. My parents and grandparents are fantastic cooks and I was taught to cook from a young age. I started my blog initially more as a place to record thoughts/information and stuff about my kids mainly for posterity.  Then I started to add the recipes I cook and tried so I could refer to them easily.
Quickly this became a bit of an addiction, and I found myself wanting to create a bit of a ‘family cookbook’ online.  I intend to have my recipes printed and bound for my three daughters (how many volumes I don’t know!) so they’ll always be able to make family favourites and ‘Mum’s cooking’ when they grow up.
So now it’s a bit of a legacy you might say.

Best described as a ‘Passionate home cook’ Liss loves to inspire the everyday family to throw out those recipe mixes and easy-meals and make it yourself – it isn’t as hard as you think!  Liss’ family of five frequent farmers markets and farmgate trails to show her readers how to meal-plan using seasonal produce and bake many treats to cut down that grocery bill without depriving yourself of a treat,in fact, quite the opposite!
